A note to our team on March 19, 2020, from RAWSO President Dylan Stephens on COVID-19 —
“If you are reading this, you are a leader at RAWSO Constructors. I would also ask that you share this with your teams as well.
As I’m sure you’re aware, the COVID-19 outbreak has caused us to change the way we do business and live our lives over the last few weeks. I think it’s essential to follow the CDC guidelines and do our part during these times.
I also believe we will come out the other side of this much stronger. This adversity will help us bond and come together as a team. I do not doubt that we have the best people in this industry, and together we will turn this negative situation into a positive outcome.
As leaders, it is our responsibility to stay positive even in the most challenging times. With the negativity on the news and social media, it’s hard to know what to believe, but we can all be the positive voice for our team and families.
Let’s use this time to come together and look for ways to improve.
In the field – serve our customers more than we ever have and help them any way you can. Buy them lunch, be positive, and do the right thing.
In the office – call and check-in for no reason and send thank you cards/emails thanking them for their business—anything you can do.
If we do this now, we will separate ourselves from the competition and will strengthen our relationships. This will help us be even more successful during and after this time.
Last, I’d like to express that we are highly prepared for this time. Even though we are what some would call a “Young Company,” we have been very disciplined from the beginning, which puts us in a great position to succeed, no matter the conditions.
I look forward to our continued growth and the success we will have because of all of you and your leadership. Let’s all come together, control our emotions, and serve our customers as no one else can.
This situation is a catalyst for us to get more focused and get better in every area of our business, and I have no doubt we will find ways to Build Better.”More blog
