Kyle joined RAWSO as an office assistant in April 2018, and today he’s worked his way up to being an estimator. Previously, he worked at a guitar store and a gas station while working on school to become a teacher.
He attended Middle Tennessee State University, where he majored in general science with focuses in chemistry and physics, and minored in secondary education. Eventually, Kyle decided that being a teacher might not be his passion after all, so his mom — Carol, the RAWSO office manager — encouraged him to apply with RAWSO.
Kyle had some exposure to the construction industry through his father, who worked in framing and drywall, but says working at RAWSO opened his eyes to the possibilities in our industry. Today, he likes working in construction because there’s so much exciting technology being used on a daily basis.
When he’s not at work, Kyle enjoys living the single life. He loves watching the Tennessee Titans or MTSU Blue Raiders play football, and he also is a huge heavy metal fan who owns ten guitars. Last but certainly not least, Kyle used to weigh 336 pounds until he used RAWSO’s weight loss competitions to help him lose 170 pounds
