Ryan joined the RAWSO family in July of 2019. He works as an operator, and his core responsibilities include running a variety of equipment on job sites (including GPS equipment), grading, and helping with utility installations. The most challenging part of his job is dealing with the ever-changing weather conditions and soil types he encounters in the field.
Before he came to RAWSO, Ryan already had several years of experience as an operator with three other construction companies. He gained some experience with running equipment when he was young, including “small-scale work with skid steers and mini-excavators.” After spending several years working in factories, Ryan felt that he needed a change of scenery, so he decided to seek a career in the dirt world.
He says that his favorite part of this industry is watching a job site develop from start to finish, and he also likes “moving big dirt.” He enjoys the team environment and growth potential at RAWSO, saying that “it actually feels like a family.”
When he’s not at work, Ryan likes to spend time with his family. He enjoys cooking and doing “anything outdoors,” including hiking, camping, fishing, and kayaking.
