Aviation Way – Roadway Extension

This project was new road construction consisting of three total lanes and drainage improvements. We also widened an existing portion of roadway and completed grading on an adjacent site.

At the beginning of the project, we found out that the new road design encroached on an adjacent property. The city and property owner agreed to move the road to the opposite side of the right of way. Design was delayed but we continued work. We also helped the city redesign the roadway to the correct alignment.

During road construction, the property owner also contracted us to expand their existing parking lot which connected to the new road. We performed this additional work in tandem with the roadway work.

The city of Lebanon required a 90 day duration on this project. We beat the schedule by mobilizing multiple crews to perform grading and utilities work simultaneously. We performed the mass grading, installed utilities, and then our grading crew followed utilities to finish with subgrade, base stone, curb and gutter, and asphalt paving.
